Dr. Brenda Landeros provides a full spectrum of general and cosmetic dental services with a focus on delivering natural, beautiful results in a comfortable, patient-centered environment. Her commitment to excellence and use of the latest dental technology ensures each patient receives personalized care designed to enhance both oral health and aesthetics. Patients appreciate Dr. Landeros for her attention to detail, artistic eye, and her warm, individualized approach to care.
Dr. Landeros completed her undergraduate studies at St. Mary’s University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Texas A&M Health Science Center – Baylor College of Dentistry. She began her dental career in Dallas before establishing her practice in Harlingen, where she has been creating confident smiles for over 20 years.
Passionate about the art and science of cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Landeros stays at the forefront of the field through extensive continuing education. She has completed advanced training and fellowships with renowned institutions including the American
Academy of Implant Dentistry, Dawson Academy, the American Academy of General Dentistry, and Spear Education. As a mentor with CDOCS—one of the premier academies for digital and aesthetic dentistry—she helps other professionals elevate their clinical skills in modern restorative techniques.
Outside of the office, Dr. Landeros enjoys spending time with her family and staying involved in her children’s activities—ranging from sports and chess to scouting and horseback riding. On weekends, she loves relaxing at South Padre Island, especially long walks on the beach and paddle boarding on the bay.

Once you experience a visit, you will notice their passion for the art of dentistry and their strive to have you leaving with a smile. They contribute to their community through support of school programs and participation in local charity causes and nonprofit organizations. As residents of Harlingen and parishioners of St. Anthony’s Church, they are happy to call Rio Grande Valley their home and hope to welcome you into their new family!

My name is Kaitlyn, I grew up in Harlingen and went to Harlingen School of Health Professions because I was interested in the dental field. I had assisted at Valley Family Dentistry when I was applying for dental hygiene school. After attending and graduating from Harlingen TSTC’s dental hygiene program, I went back to working at Valley Family Dentistry as a hygienist. I am happy to meet all patients and provide thorough care for them while making them comfortable and confident in their smiles!
Nikki Barba
RDH
Nikki was born in St. Charles, Missouri, and moved to Texas in 1976 at the age of five. Her family settled in Parker, a small community east of Plano, where she grew up. From a young age, Nikki developed a passion for horses, actively participating in 4-H and showing quarter horses in performance events at 4-H, open, and AQHA shows. She held several leadership positions in local, county, and district 4-H and quarter horse clubs. She continues her family’s tradition of horse breeding and showing.
Nikki earned a Bachelor of Science in Horse Production and Management from Tarleton State University in 1997, followed with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1999, where she was class president. It might be said that dentistry is in her blood as her great-grandfather was a dentist in Hanover, Kansas. Nikki has preserved some of his original instruments as part of her professional legacy.
In addition to her dental career, Nikki has held a license in mortgage lending and currently holds a license as a real estate agent. In March of 2023, she sold her horse facility in Huckabay, north of Stephenville, Tx, and relocated to Harlingen to begin a new chapter in her life.
Nikki still loves going to horse shows and riding as many days as possible. Since moving, she and her boyfriend have enjoyed a shared love of fishing, often taking their boat out to the bay and occasionally participating in tournaments. Nikki is passionate about patient care, taking pride in building lasting relationships, sharing stories, and helping patients achieve their dental goals for both a healthy body and a confident smile.
